Privacy policy

Information you provide
When you request a quote, we may collect your name, organization, email, phone number, project specifications, deadline, instructions, and files you choose to upload.
Website security information
We may briefly process network and request-security information to prevent spam, repeated automated submissions, and storage abuse. Short-lived anti-abuse identifiers are not used for advertising and are removed automatically as their protection window expires.
How we use it
We use this information to review your request, prepare a quote, communicate about proofing and production, complete the requested work, provide customer support, and maintain business records.
Uploaded artwork
Uploaded files are stored privately and are not published or made searchable on the website. We retain files and project information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, produce the requested work, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Keep your own copy of every file.
Analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visits that arrive from a Google advertisement lead to an enquiry. Both set cookies in your browser and both are provided by Google.
These tools record which pages you view, how you arrived at the site, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and certain actions — for example tapping a phone number, opening an FAQ, starting or submitting the quote form, and how far down a page you scroll.
We do not send your name, email address, phone number, project instructions, or uploaded artwork to these services. The information attached to those actions is limited to things such as the page address, the label of the button pressed, and whether files were attached — not the contents of your enquiry.
You can prevent this collection by blocking cookies in your browser settings, by using Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by adjusting your Google ad settings. Blocking them does not affect your ability to request a quote or upload files.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by the company that hosts this website. These record page views, the page you arrived from, an approximate location, and your browser and device type, and they measure how quickly pages actually load for real visitors. They do not use third-party cookies and do not follow you across other websites. Visitors are counted using a temporary value derived from the request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours.
Session recording
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through the site — mouse movement, clicks, taps and scrolling — and replays those sessions so we can see where people get stuck. This is more detailed than the page counts described above, so we set it out separately rather than bury it.
Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings. Microsoft masks the contents of input boxes and drop-down menus in every mode, and this cannot be switched off. Your name, email address, phone number and project instructions are replaced with placeholder characters before anything leaves your browser, so they are never uploaded to Clarity and never appear in a replay. Uploaded artwork is not part of these recordings either.
What a recording shows us is behaviour, not identity: which parts of a page were read, where a form was abandoned, whether a button was missed. Microsoft sets cookies to recognise a returning session. You can block those in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site.
Service providers
We may use website hosting, secure file storage, analytics, advertising measurement, email, payment, and production service providers to operate the business. They may process information only as needed to provide those services.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to complete a service you requested.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with a quote request, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. Contact contact@charlotteprint.org.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Do not upload passwords, financial account records, medical records, or other unrelated sensitive data.
